Message: " Road Not Taken" by Robert Frost was a poem that I had to memorize in 7th grade. That was many years ago! It took me a long time to understand and appreciate it. Thanks to my teacher for putting it in my head and keeping it there. June 9, 2002 08:09:51 (GMT Time)

Message: Loved visiting the site. Have been a Frost fan since Junior High School. Had a teacher in High School that really helped me appreciate Frost. She gave me a paperback of Frost poems that I still have 35 years later. He was a one and only. Never will be a man like him. Still love his poetry. June 11, 2002 21:37:48 (GMT Time)

Message: You have gathered a wonderful selection of poems from one of my most beloved poets. I had not read Frost's work for quite some time, and browsing through your website, bought back a flood of memories of poems first read, at a time long ago, in a place far away, as a young boy, starting out on the road less traveled by, and as Frost further said, that has made all the difference. Thanks and keep up the great work. August 25, 2002 16:58:32 (GMT Time)

Message: As my life did not permit such extravagances of leisure time, I was not able to finally obtain a copy of the poem "The Road Not Taken", only the best poem ever written on this entire planet! I read the poem in school and have lived with bits and pieces of it, not remembering the author, and very little of the poem, but being in love with the poem itself. It was not to be until 30 years later when I was helping in my daughters classroom, that I actually saw this poem in print again. Needless to say, I had found inner peace in finding this poem again and it's author. If I could write like that, I would feel that my entire life would be fullfilled, once and for all. The Road Not Taken, always makes me wonder at this time in my life, what would have happened if I had been able to travel both roads. Guess I'll never know. January 7, 2001 03:17:21 (GMT Time)

Message: Excited, intrepid, inspired by Frost, I took the road to the left, not knowing the cost. Lonely and cold and feeling forsaken, I realized there's reason it's the road usually not taken. There's divots and potholes and sometimes there's mud, The briars and thorns seem magnets for blood. With scant place to rest, and nothing to eat, my only companion the sound from my feet. But onward I must deeper into the fray, And would it be worthy of telling if it were another way? Richard. February 13, 2001 00:28:36 (GMT Time)
